Service was fast. Dining area was clean. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a root beer. Order came out fast, food was delicious. We stop by again.
I saw the statue and had to stop by on a warm spring day to try some ice cream. They offer Jersey's largest banana split and no kidding this thing is gigantic! It was very delicious and packed to the brim. There is outdoor seating available as well as a bathroom- but watch out some of the doors don't have functioning locks. A bit pricey but can be justified give the outrageously large portion size. You'll need 2 people at the very least to finish their famous banana split!
We passed this place a bunch of times on our way to Margate or Brigantine. It has a pretty cool retro vibe which I dig and a giant, Mr. Bill statue marking the spot. We decided to pull in for lunch on a Friday afternoon on the way to Brigantine. We ordered a hotdog, a grilled chicken sandwich and an order of fries. Our server was super friendly and helpful. The hotdog was cooked on a flat iron and cut in half and it really tasted good, albeit we were quite hungry. It had that nice flat iron grill taste to it, and the bun was fresh. The grilled chicken sandwich was cooked just right and was not over cooked and dry. It did not have a lot of flavor but still was good. And french fries have always been my guilty pleasure, and I will say that these were quite good. Crispy and looked home cut but I am not sure. We were pleasantly surprised at Mr. Bill 's and will stop back there again on our way to the New Jersey Coast. I almost forgot we split a Richmans ice cream in a sugar cone, and that was very good also. 3.5-4 yelp stars.
The boss had a bacon cheeseburger and I had the pastrami sandwich. Good fare with the burger. Side order of fries was plentiful and tasty. Pastrami sandwich was tasty and generous in size. The boss had a chocolate peanut butter ice cream shake. Fantastic combo and a winner. Service was friendly and attentive. The place had a fun vibe and was clean. Overall, we would happily come back for lunch and definitely for the ice cream.
Solid breakfast fare. Hearty sandwiches that could easily be breakfast for two. Big menu, plus ice cream! Staff were super-nice. My friends loved it and got to try pork roll while visiting NJ for the first time.
I always enjoy having brunch here. I do prefer their breakfast menu over lunch. Service is good and friendly. Funnel cake and fried oreos are good, too when they are available. The one flavor of ice cream I could never forget is the Eggnog ice cream. That was absolutely delicious. It was available during Christmas season. Hope to get it again next Christmas. If there is one thing to improve on though, it would be the cleanliness of the restrooms.
